Sunday October 18th 2015 saw the return of the famous Dudley RCC Winter Series. Some of you old school racers will remember the fun from the good old days when it was just 1/10 buggies indoors, this time round it was multiple classes. With 60 drivers attending the meeting the Dudley club were catering for a mixture of classes including 1/16 Micros, Touring Cars, Formula One, GT12 and 1/10 Buggies.

The track was laid out so the tricky slippy areas and the offroad features could be bypassed for the onroad cars. The Micro class would see quite a few drivers pushing hard to make the main top 10 and was the most popular class. After 4 rounds of qualifying Team CML would take 4 of the top 10 spots, with a couple of the 1/8 Team making an appearance.

The finals for all classes would be 2 legs and be hotly contested as there would be a nice framed certificate and more importantly chocolate for the top 3 in each class. CML’s Jon Howells piloted his Carisma buggy to the top, taking home the chocolate in the Micro A-Main!
